Descendants and historians of the 371st Infantry Regiment 93rd Division (Colored); World War I

Our organization is founded and supported by South Carolina military historians, U.S. Army veterans, members of Congress, and some of the descendants of the 371st Infantry Regiment 93rd Division.

A small sculpture of the 371st monument was officially unveiled in 2019 to honor the legacy of the 371st Infantry Regiment 93rd Division, (Colored); World War I in Richland County, South Carolina and an exhibit was held in Columbia, South Carolina of the same year.

The 371st Monument Association has engaged distinguished sculptor, Maria Kirby-Smith of Camden to design, sculpt, and cast a monument to honor these African-American heroes.
